Director Sam Raimi has said he has no plans to make another Marvel movie amid rumors that he could direct an upcoming Avengers film and/or direct a new Spider-Man film with Tobey Maguire. Speaking to TheWrap, Raimi said simply, “I don’t have any plans.”

Unverified rumors have suggested Raimi could direct 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars, but this is not confirmed. Author George R.R. Martin has confirmed that some of the upcoming Game of Thrones TV shows in the works are not moving ahead, at least not right now. Posting on his Not A Blog, Martin said some of these “successor shows” have been “shelved,” though they aren’t necessarily dead forever.

In a post detailing his upcoming projects, Martin said he continues to develop new Game of Thrones shows with HBO. As is always the case with TV development, some shows are “moving faster than others” and some are moving slower, or stopped entirely. “

“None have been greenlit yet, though we are hoping… maybe soon. A couple have been shelved, but I would not agree that they are dead. You can take something off the shelf as easily as you can put it on the shelf,” he said.

Epic Games and The Lego Group have released a new gameplay trailer for Lego Fortnite on the day that the game launches for everyone. Lego Fortnite sounds a lot like Minecraft in that players scavenge for resources, craft items, and build things either by themselves or with a group.

According to The Verge, Sony is reportedly asking game developers to create an exclusive graphics mode in their games for its high-end PlayStation 5 model. It reportedly combines Sony’s new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling to 4K resolution with 60fps and ray-tracing.

Games that offer this mode apparently have the PS5 Pro “Enhanced” label. However, the label will still be available for some games that have 30fps.
